Double Win at The Wellington Business Excellence Awards!
Last Friday, Jarvis owners Rhiannon and Dan, along with long-time staff members Callum and Phil, attended the 2degrees Wellington Regional Business Excellence 2024 Awards night. What a beautiful evening put on by the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce!
We were absolutely over the moon to receive the Award of Excellence in Construction, Trades, and Infrastructure as well as the People’s Choice Award! The whole team is still buzzing from the news.
We’re in awe of the incredible companies we were up against for these awards, and we’d like to congratulate every one of them for setting such a high standard of quality across Wellington.
Our team is proud to share the win with founders Dave and Genny Jarvis, who built the foundation of everything we do today. They inspire our mission to provide excellent craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, and a supportive workplace where every employee can thrive.
The Morden Award of Excellence in Construction, Trades, and Infrastructure is awarded based on factors that determine a business’ overall health and operations. They assess things like how we organise our day-to-day operations, team communications, customer relations, marketing efforts, future-forward initiatives, economic viability, and more.
The ANZ Peoples’ Choice Award is a new title that finalists from all categories had a shot at winning. We were overwhelmed by the response from our customers and community as they rallied to vote for us. Winning the People’s Choice Award means so much as it aligns with our philosophy of ‘plumbing for the people’ — everything we do is centred around our team, customers, and local community.

Rhiannon and Dan were called onstage to receive the coveted Award of Excellence in Construction, Trades, and Infrastructure.
They were called back shortly afterwards to accept the People’s Choice Award. A real pinch-me moment!
